CEDAR RAPIDS:  Anna N. Lee, 88, died January 8, 2010 at Evergreen Estates III in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness.

     Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM, Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone with Rev. Steven Rempfer officiating.  Interment will be held at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Plattsmouth, NE. at 1 PM on Monday.  Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to service time on Sunday.

     Anna was born July 24, 1921 at Menno, South Dakota to Fred and Emma (Heckenliable) Haar.  She married Wallace Lee at Cedar Falls and he preceded her in death.

     Anna had been employed at Wilson Packing Co. prior to her retirement.  Singing gave her great pleasure.

     She is survived by her sister, Linda Merrigan of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Arnold (Donna) Haar of Newhall, Raymond Haar, and Arthur Haar, both of Yankton, SD; her sisters-in-law, Glady Haar of Cedar Rapids, and Jean Haar of Oregon; and a number of nieces and nephews.

     In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Herb; and her sister, Annette.

      A Memorial Fund has been established for Essence Of Life Hospice. The Haar family wants to express a special thanks to Anna's friends at Evergreen Estates III and Essence Of Life Hospice for their loving care.
