Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at First Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine with Rev. Dean Duncan officiating.   Committal Services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Luzerne.  Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Keystone.
Donn was born February 13, 1949 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Kenneth and Olive (Boehmke) Kramer.  He grew up in Luzerne where he attended Parochial School through 8th grade and then graduated from the Belle Plaine High School in 1967.
On August 30, 1975 he married Christine Deanne Schwab at First Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine.
In 1972 Donn began working at Fronings and then the Farmers 4 County Co-op until his recent illness.  He took great pride in his work at the Co-op, and when it came to his work, he was a perfectionist and insisted on doing the job right the first time.
Donn enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being with his granddaughters, working in his garden, and playing cards with family.  Known to many people as "Hoss", he will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Chris; his son, Travis and wife, Sarah; his three grandchildren, Hannah, Macy, and Lydia; his step-mother Verna Kramer of Luzerne; his brother, James (Mako) Bockholt of Palo Alto, CA; his sisters, Patricia (Rick) Mensing of Pleasanton, CA and Anne (Ray) Brecht of Blairstown; his step brothers, Russell (Bonnie) Johnson of Pleasantville, IA, Kenneth Johnson of Belle Plaine and Glen (Kathy) Johnson of Independence, WI; his step sister, Linda (Glen) McElroy of Marengo and his special friend, Cooper.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Kieran William Kramer.
