BLAIRSTOWN:  Dean A. Kramer, age 80, died Monday, February 26, 2007 at his rural residence following a sudden illness.
     Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 3, 2007 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Luzerne with Rev. Michael Musick officiating.  Interment will be held at the Luzerne Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will also be held at the church on Friday from 3 to 7 PM.  In lieu of flowers Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
     Dean was born July 21, 1926 to Arthur and Helen (Johnson) Kramer on the same Century Farm where he died.  He was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and attended the congregation's Parochial School.  On March 19, 1950 he and Evelyn Schutterle exchanged marriage vows at St. Paul's.
     Dean farmed his entire life and served on the Coon Creek Telephone Association Board of Directors and was a longtime member of the Keystone Turners.  He was also an accomplished carpenter.  He enjoyed playing cards, hunting and fishing and will be remembered for his sense of humor.
     He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of rural Blairstown; his daughters, Connie (Jim) Ternes of Atkins, and Julie (Al) Hamann of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Jaime (Cory) Townsend, Jenny Ternes, Heather Hamann, and Eric Hamann, all of Cedar Rapids, and Brad (Joy) Hamann of San Antonio, TX; his great-grandsons, Aiden Albertsen, and Cole and Camden Townsend; and his sister, Darlene (Henry) Mantz of Keystone.
     His parents and his brother, Lowell "Pat" Kramer, preceded him in death.
     Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone is in charge of arrangements.
