KEYSTONE:  Delbert W. Junge, 89, died Friday, October 24, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids of complications from surgery.
     Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, October 27, 2008 at St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone with Rev. Dr. James Eggert officiating.  Interment will be held at the Keystone Cemetery.  Friends may call at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Keystone from 3 to 5 Pm on Sunday.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
     Delbert was born January 10, 1919 at Keystone to Henry and Rose (Emmel) Junge.  On September 1, 1939 he was united in marriage to Lucille Holst at the Lutheran Parsonage in Keystone.  The couple farmed in the Keystone area for many years before moving to Keystone in 1968.  Delbert also enjoyed buying and selling automobiles and was employed at Farm Service Gas Station prior to retirement.  He was a life long member of St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone.
     In addition to his wife, Lucille, he is survived by his children, Richard Junge and friend, Mary Lou Scorpil of Cedar Rapids, Beverly Bell and husband, Bill of Fayetteville, AR, Gloria Kenner and husband, Dale of Ankeny, Gary Junge and fiancée Wendy Toman of Toddville, Doug Junge and wife, Jeanne of Swisher, and Joyce Ritscher of Cedar Rapids;  twelve grandchildren; two step-grandsons; twenty-two great grandchildren; his sister, Frances Eichmeyer of Cedar Rapids; his sister-in-law, Lola Franzenberg of Keystone; and many nieces and nephews.
     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Junge  and his grandson, Alan Ritscher.
