NORWAY: Etta Lee, 94, died Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Keystone Nursing Care Center in Keystone following an extended illness.

     Funeral Services will be held at  10:00 AM, Friday, October 14, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walford with Pastor Don Dovre officiating.  Interment will be held at the Norway Cemetery.  Friends may call at Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone from  4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday.  A memorial fund has been established.

     Etta was born August 29, 1917 near Conroy to Russell and Gertrude (Faltinson) Spurrier.   On February 9, 1938 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Lee at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.  He preceded her in death on May 31, 2004.

     Etta was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Walford and of the ELCW of First Lutheran Church in Conroy.

     She is survived by her sons, Robert (Bette) Lee of Norway, and Richard (Pam) Lee of Shueyville; her daughter, Linda Coakley of Ames; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents and husband, Kenneth, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Keith Young and her sister, LaRue East.
