VINTON: Frank E. Warner, 84, died December 30, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness. Frank's family will receive friends at Phillips Family Center, 605 2nd Ave in Vinton, from 2 to 4 PM on Wednesday, January 6, 2010. There will be no public services and Private Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton. Frank was born July 18, 1925 at Holton, KS to Edward S. and Esther E. (Maas) Warner. He married Jo Parmater on March 4, 1949 in Vinton. Frank owned and operated "Frank's Conoco Station" in Vinton for many years and later served as a Meter Reader for the City of Vinton. He enjoyed hunting, reloading rounds, gun collecting, target shooting, dining out and trips around Iowa. Frank is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jo Warner of Vinton; and his daughter, Gisele N. Warner of Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Kenneth and Keith.
