NEWHALL: Irma D. Primrose, age 94, died Sunday, April 16, 2006 at Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at St. John Lutheran Church in Newhall with Rev. Steven Rempfer officiating. Interment will be held at St. John Cemetery in Newhall. Friends may call at the church from 5 to 7 P.M., on Tuesday.

Irma was born June 14, 1911 at Vinton to Friedrick “Fritz” and Augusta Molzen and graduated from the Vinton High School in 1929. On December 14, 1938 she married Harry J. Primrose at Newhall.

Irma was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Newhall where she was active in the Tabitha Society, LWML Mission Society and Lamplighters. In her leisure she enjoyed gardening, quilting and cooking.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Terry Primrose and Lyle and Nancy Primrose all of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harry in 1979.

Irma had a strong belief in the Lord and found peace through Him. She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.

Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church or St. Luke’s Hospice.
