VINTON:  Linwood A. Hunt, 54, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 in Denmark, WI following a sudden illness.
        Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, June 15, 2009 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. 6th St., in Vinton with Rev. Norman Bennett officiating.  Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday.  A Memorial Fund has been established.
         Linwood was born October 24, 1954 at Kirksville, MO to Harold and Lou Ann (Eoff) Hunt and graduated from Washington High School in Vinton in 1972. 
         On April 17, 1976 he married Sue Seltrecht at Vinton.  Linwood was an owner-operator for twenty-seven years and leased his truck to D & G Transportation for the past six years. He was a member of the NRA.
          He is survived by his wife, Sue of Vinton; his children, Katrina (Rick) Wood of Vinton, Michael (Brittany) Hunt of Belle Plaine; and Cortney Hunt of Coralville; three grandchildren, Ben, Erin, and Michael Wood; and his mother, Lou Ann Hunt of Vinton.
          His father preceded him in death.
