GARRISON:  Peggy McNeill, 63, died Sunday, January 17, 2010 at U of I Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City following a sudden illness.

     Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, January 22, 2010 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. 6th St., in Vinton with Rev. Loel Fink officiating.  Private Committal Services will be held at the Garrison Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 PM, on Thursday.  A Memorial Fund has been established.

     Peggy was born July 19, 1946 in Cedar Falls to Cecil and Ruth (Redfearn) Rasmussen.

     She has resided in Garrison the past twenty years, and was employed as the Assistant Manager of Dollar General in Vinton.  Peggy was a loving mother and grandmother.

     She is survived by her son, Bill (Meggen) McNeill of Vinton; her daughters, Angie (Joe) Graham of Waterloo, Regina Fennern and her special friend, Dustin Maser of Vinton; and Melissa (Nick) Delahoussaye of Story City; seventeen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her parents, Cecil and Ruth Rasmussen of Traer; and a very special friend, Lynn Henkle.

     She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dee Kisner.
