BLAIRSTOWN:  Rita "Peg" Leslie, age 85, died Saturday evening, January 20, 2007 at the Keystone Nursing Care Center in Keystone, following an extended illness.
     Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Blairstown with Rev. Jena Manchester officiating.  Interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Blairstown.  Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until service time on Wednesday.  A Memorial Fund has been established.
     "Peg" was born August 6, 1921 at San Diego, CA to Joseph and Margie (Blaney) Pugh.  On November 17, 1940 she married James Leslie at Yuma, Arizona.  They made their home in Blairstown and James preceded her in death in 1963.
     Peg enjoyed bowling, playing cards and shopping.  She was a member of the Blairstown American Legion Auxiliary.
     She is survived by her grandsons, John Leslie and James Leslie both of Cedar Rapids; her great grandson, Chaston Leslie; and special friends, Shirley and Lynn Pender of Blairstown.
     In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis and James Leslie.
