PALO:  Steven C. Kramer, 50, died April 5, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center following a sudden illness.
     Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, April 10, 2009 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. 6th St. in Vinton.  Interment will be held at the Urbana Cemetery in Urbana.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday.  A Memorial Fund has been established.
     Steven was born September 21, 1958 at Vinton to Clarence Edwon and Helen Faye (Fry) Kramer.   On December 29, 2004 he married Kimberly Black at Vinton.
     He was a Shop Foreman at West Side Transport in Cedar Rapids for the past three years.  He enjoyed fishing, nature, his garden, cooking, and repairing cars.  
     Steven is survived by his wife, Kimberly of Palo; his children, Sonya Kramer of Cedar Rapids, Julia Kramer of Urbana, Christopher Kramer of Brooklyn, Michael Kramer of Urbana, and Tonya Kramer of Palo; his step-daughters, Lacy Barnett of Cedar Rapids, and Ashley Gorman of Marion; eight grandchildren; his brothers, Scott Kramer of Jupiter, FL, and Shane (Kim) Kramer of Rochester, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
      He was preceded in death by his parents.
