GARRISON:  Yvonne Baughman, age 76, died Tuesday morning, November 28, 2006 at the Vinton Lutheran Home following an extended illness.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 2, 2006 at the United Methodist Church in Garrison with Rev. Jan Ziskovsky officiating.    Interment will be held at the Garrison Cemetery in Garrison.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church on Saturday.  A Memorial Fund has been established.  Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Yvonne was born January 3, 1930 at Winona, Minnesota to Clark and Gertrude (Lovejoy) Uttley, and graduated from the University High School in Iowa City in 1948.  On June 12, 1949 she married Robert Baughman in Milo, Iowa.  Yvonne worked at J.C. Penny's, Collins Radio and Hawkbilt.  She was member of the United Methodist Church in Garrison, the church choir, Big Grove Homemakers Club,  a couples' card club and the Farm Bureau.
In her leisure Yvonne enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, embroidery, baking and spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed traveling, wintering in Texas and square dancing.
     She is survived by her husband Robert of Garrison; son, Ronald (Patricia) Baughman of Brenham, TX; daughters, Karen Hiemstra of Garrison and Cheryl (Charles) Hardin of Ft. Madison; her grandchildren, Mark Baughman and fiancé Chauntelle, and Amy Baughman all of Houston, TX, Tammy Baughman of Brenham, TX, Eric (Tristan) Hiemstra and their daughter, Gabriella of Baltimore, MD, Howard (Jennifer) Hiemstra and their son, Xavier of Dodge City, KS and Katie (Brian) Vanderbilt of Mundelein, IL; step-granddaughters, Tara Hardin and her son Avery of Ft. Madison and Brooke Hardin of Iowa City; and one brother, Keith (Dorothy) Uttley of Milo, Iowa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lynford Uttley, one sister, Marcia Jean Uttley, who died in infancy and her son-in-law, Glen Hiemstra.
