NEWHALL: Alice Margaret (McNulty) Miller, age 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at her home in Newhall with her family by her side.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 27, 2026 at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Newhall with Rev. Frantz Augustin as Celebrant. Interment will be held at St. Patrick and St. Paul Cemetery, Watkins. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, also at the church in Newhall. A memorial fund has been established.

Alice was born on March 22, 1934, the first-born child of Gerald and Lillian (Boddicker) McNulty. She had fond memories of working on the family farm with her father, driving the tractor and caring for the livestock. Alice met the love of her life while in high school and married Wayne Miller on August 23, 1952, after graduating. They raised their children on the Miller family farm outside Newhall.

Alice worked hard her whole life, from managing the local Miller’s Tap and Grill downtown Newhall, to running Multiple restaurants, and finishing her career in the print department of Linn Mar Schools, where she retired. Alice enjoyed summer road trip adventures with her family and having grandchildren stay over. In later years, every Friday night she hosted dinner and nickel poker with her children and grandchildren. Her most important treasure in life was her family, and she was rewarded with a large one.

Alice is the mother of Terry (Rhonda) Miller, Craig (Ivy) Miller, Diane (Lyle) Glass, Cathy (Ted) Davis, Jerry Miller and Steve Miller. Alice has over 50 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Carol Ann Lund, Darlene Kerker, and Mary Lou Jacobi, and her sisters-in-law, Carole McNulty, and Linda McNulty; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband Wayne; brothers, Robert and Jimmy McNulty; and brothers-in-law, Donald Kerker, James Jacobi, and Russell Lund.
