KEYSTONE:  Barbara Lee Frye, age 64, died Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her home in rural Keystone.

Private family services will be held, with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, rural Keystone.

Barbara was born on April 11, 1954 in Illinois the daughter of Deward "Duke" and Katharine (Sep-cic) Hardesty.  She graduated from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb.  She was united in marriage to Dennis Frye on January 30, 1982 in Iowa City.

Barbara was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Van Horne.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors and tending to her flowers as well as boating and swimming.  She had a love for loud country music.  Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her husband Dennis; her son Joshua (Roni) Frye of Garrison; and her grandchildren, Colton Frye, Navaeh Lee Miller, Klay, Harlan and Oakley Frye.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Ethan in 2006.
