KEYSTONE: Beverly Ann Rehberg passed away at age 85 on October 10, 2026 at Keystone Nursing Care Center in Keystone, Iowa. She was born February 7, 1941 in Tama, Iowa, to the late Floyd and Evelena (Kriegel) Rutledge.

Beverly was united in marriage to Harold Rehberg on April 24, 1960. For 15 years they made their home in Grinnell, Iowa, where she worked for McNally’s Super Value. In 1975 they moved to Blairstown and she took a job in the office at Amana Refrigeration. Later she worked at The Kitchen Sink in Amana, Iowa. Bev enjoyed close friendships with her coworkers and loved interacting with her customers.

Beverly and Harold enjoyed vegetable gardening. She spent many hours canning produce. She also had a lovely flower bed. Their pet dogs and cats were adored. Vacations and long weekends were spent camping in Iowa, Colorado, Nebraska, and Tennessee, amongst other places. For their 25th anniversary, Harold and Bev took their dream trip to Europe. After retirement, they took several bus tours in the United States. Bev enjoyed visiting the mountains in Colorado with her son Fred and trips with her daughter Sherie to Chicago, Minneapolis, Branson, and Door County.

Beverly and Harold were active members of Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown and she participated in Philia Club and Ladies Aid Auxiliary and sang in the church choir for many years. Beverly and Harold volunteered for Lutheran Brotherhood (now known as Thrivent) on activities in Benton County including highway cleanup on highway 218 near Van Horne. She served the community working on the library board.

In addition to her parents, Floyd and Evelena, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Harold, and by her brother, Richard Rutledge.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Sherie Rehberg of Norway, Iowa, and her son, Frederick Rehberg of Thornton, Colorado. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia, and sister-in-law, Betty Rutledge, as well as many other family members and friends. Beverly loved spending time with family and always had a ready laugh.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown. A light luncheon will follow. Interment will be held at 5:30 at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Malcom, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM before the funeral service.
