VINTON: Blanche Ann Lovell, 88, went to her eternal home on August 23, 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 27, 12:00 pm at Harvest 365, 1201 C Ave, Vinton.
Blanche was born November 7, 1933 to Bertha Wart and Henry Paul in Waukegan, IL. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952. On May 29, 1952 she married Lyle W. Lovell. Blanche was employed at Benton County Opportunities for 20+ years and loved working with all of her clients.
Blanche loved to spend time camping, boating, sitting on her front porch and being with her family at the cabin in Wisconsin. She loved and had many dogs in her life including babysitting for her boys' dogs and most recently babysitting Charlie her granddaughter's dog. Most of all she loved being a mother and grandmother.
Blanche is survived by her three sons, Loren (Janet) of Vinton, Ronald of Salina, KS, Chuck of Denver, CO; daughter-in-law, Denise Lovell of Urbana; sister, Lois Anderson of Omaha; brother Bud Paul of Ohio; grandchildren, Tammy (Jason) Laton, Patrick (Libbie) Lovell, Meggen (Bill) McNeill, Tiffany (Matt) Quevedo, Courtney (Mike) Warnkey, and Wesley Lovell; twenty great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; three brother-in-laws; five sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Irene Paul, Bertha Landgreby, her husband Lyle; son, Lyle Dean; one daughter; one brother; one sister; one grandson and one great-great granddaughter.
