VINTON: Glenna J. (Neve) Wilt, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her home at Windsor Manor in Vinton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, July 29 , 2022 at the Vinton Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Dennis Morey officiating.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E. 6 ^th Street) in Vinton.  Interment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Vinton.  A memorial fund has been established.

Glenna was born on July 9, 1936 in Vinton, the daughter of Harold and Marguerite (Johnson) Neve, and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1954.  She was united in marriage to Warren Wilt on March 3, 1956 at the Vinton Presbyterian Church.  Warren preceded Glenna in death in March of 2000.

Glenna worked at the Benton County Treasurer's office in her younger years.  She later worked with the Welcome Wagon in Vinton and also in Cedar Rapids.  She was a lifelong member of the Vinton Presbyterian Church.  Glenna was an avid bridge player and enjoyed membership in several bridge clubs.  She and Warren were also longtime members of the Vinton Country Club.

She is survived by her children, Kevin (Debbie) Wilt of Plymouth, MN, Karen (Dan) Irish of Bettendorf; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer, Karissa, Andrea, Heather, Heidi, Megan, Mallory, and Michael; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Wayne Neve of Vinton, John Neve of Tucson, AZ; and her sister Cheryl (David) Duncklee of Waukon.

In addition to her parents, and husband Warren, she was preceded in death by her sister Virginia (Don) Erickson; and 2 sisters-in-law, Rosie Neve and Jane Neve.
