BLAIRSTOWN: Harold Rehberg, 94, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Keystone Care Center.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown officiated by Pastor Jeffery Schanbacher. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM prior to service. A luncheon will be held after the service. Interment will be held following the luncheon at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Malcom.

Harold was born on August 9, 1932, in Sheridan Township to Harry and Minnie (Jochims) Rehberg. He graduated from Grinnell High School in 1950. On April 24, 1960, Harold was United in Marriage to Beverly Rutledge. He was a Quality Inspector for Amana Refridgeration from 1968 to 1994.

He was a proud member of the Blairstown American Legion Post 170 and also a proud member of the Grace Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and gardening. Harold was a farmer in his own mind, with a love of tractors and wearing overalls. He had a beloved collection of toy tractors and had over 500 of them, including every Hallmark Christmas Tractor that came out since he started purchasing them in the 90’s. He loved going to the Dyersville Toy Show for the tractors and the Ertl Toy Tractor Company museum and store.

Harold and Beverly over the years had several cats that they treated like their own grandchildren. They loved taking trips across the U.S. and abroad. He especially liked visiting his son in Colorado and camping with him.

Harold is survived by his wife, Beverly; his children, Sherie Rehberg and Fred Rehberg; his siblings, Lillian Davidson, Garnet Gertsma, and Nancy Locker; his sisters-in-law, Betty Rutledge and Sue Rutledge; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Minnie; and his siblings, Doris Parker, Fern Buhr, and Marion Rehberg.
