VINTON: Joseph C. Foster, 46, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026 in Newhall.

Services will be held at a later date.

Joseph was born on May 3, 1980, in Texas, to Stephen and Virginia (Walker) Foster. He graduated from Stafford County High School in Virginia in 1999. Joseph served his country in the Army for 14 years, and was a postal worker for 10 years. He was a recreational shooter, an avid saltwater aquarium enthusiast, and loved cooking, especially ethnic foods. He would give you the shirt off his back without expecting anything in return.

Joseph is survived by his sisters, Michele McCormick and Julie Figueroa; his brother, Stephen Foster; his step-siblings, Lawrence Bell Jr. and Lauren Davis; several nieces and nephews; and his close friends, Andy and Lola Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Virginia; and his sister, Stephanie Williams.
