Joyce M. Schueler, 81, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 20th, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vinton Monday, December 29th from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral Services will be at 1030 a.m at Trinity Lutheran Church officiated by Paster Pruess. Private family interment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Joyce was born on July 9th, 1944 in Iowa to Bill and Viola (Dose) Long. She Married Kenneth Schueler on August 3, 1962, at St. Andrews Lutheran Church. Joyce was the manager of Casey's for 25 years and spent 12 years as a teacher at Trinity Lutheran Church Preschool (TLC).

Joyce loved to gamble and visit casinos, especially in Vegas. She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Joyce loved spending time with her family. She specifically loved to dote over and spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren!

Joyce is survived by her children, Dawn (Doug) Yenser, Lance (Solveig) Schueler, and Wade (Kim) Schueler; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Viola; her husband, Kenneth Schueler; her siblings, Ardith Long, Sandra Bush, Roger Long, and Nick Long; and 2 great-grandchildren, Easton Lindeman and Brielle Wilson.
