DYSART: Karen (Sparrowgrove) McMann Pratt, 73, of Aledo, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Garrison.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Phillips Funeral Home in Vinton (212 E. 6 ^th Street). Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 4, at 11:30 AM in East Moline at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Following the graveside service, the family would like to invite everyone to Franks Pizzeria (711 1 ^st Ave) in Silvis, Illinois where a luncheon will be provided.

Karen was born on November 1, 1949, the daughter of James and Emma (Beard) Sparrowgrove. Karen graduated from United Township High School in East Moline with the class of 1968. On October 3, 1975, she was united in marriage to Terry Pratt in Silvis, Illinois. Karen worked Maintenance at Unity Point Trinity Hospital in Rock Island for most of her career, retiring on Friday April 28, ^, 2023 at the age of 73. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses of Aledo, Illinois. Karen enjoyed cooking, and being a caretaker for others. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Sharon (Mike) Carney of Marengo, Marjie Krakow of Marengo, Terri Ann (Keenan) Walters of Dysart, Trinette (Ryan) Decker of Morrison, Illinois, Amanda Pratt of North Liberty, and Terry Pratt Jr. of Aledo, Illinois; grandchildren, J.T. Stechalin, Brit (Eric) Glassell, Makayla Carney, Austin Carney, Lucas (Marissa) Krakow, Jacob (Ellie) Krakow, Katie Krakow, Blake Krakow, Cody Pratt, Payton Decker, Chase Decker, Gavin Walters, Garrin Walters, Alex Schriner, Sawyer Pratt, and Aria Pratt; sister, Judy Lopez of Jacksonville, Florida; 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her lifelong friend Julie Godsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Terry Pratt in 2004; daughter, Michelle Pratt-Schriner; grandchildren, Ashlyn Carney, Patrick Carney, and Ashley Pratt.
