BLAIRSTOWN:  Marilyn Jean Eddards, age 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Unity Point St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Private family services will be held.

Marilyn was born on March 20, 1948, in Arlington Heights, Illinois to Ervin and Rose (Schwartz) Allison.  She was united in marriage to Glen Eddards.  Glen passed away at a young age, and Marilyn raised her children on her own.

She is survived by her 5 sons, Jon (Sherry) McCabe of South Carolina, Herbert Eddards of Nebraska, Robert (Ashley) Eddards of Blairstown, Donovan Eddards, and David Eddards, both of Streator, IL; 22 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Dan Allison, Jeff Allison, and Terry Allison.

In addition to her parents and husband, Glen, Marilyn was preceded in death by her daughter Kathleen; grandson, Michael Hoover; and 1 sister.
