VINTON:  Pamela Darlene (Primmer) Schminke, age 74, of Waterloo, formerly of Vinton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at her home in Waterloo.

Memorial services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Vinton with Rev. Brian Channel officiating.  Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:15 PM on Saturday at the church.

Pamela was born on January 31, 1945, in Vinton to Carl and Betty (Butler) Primmer and was a member of the Washington High School class of 1963 in Vinton.  Pamela loved children and operated a day care, providing child care to others.  Her greatest joy came from time spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, Scott (Mari Sue) Schminke of Vinton, Tim (Susan) Schminke of Marion, Jeannie Schminke of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, her brother, Rick (Pam) Primmer; sisters, Trudy Evans, and Doris Trefz; and her brother-in-law, Bruce Bauer, all of Vinton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina in infancy; sister Carla Bauer; and two brothers-in-law, Ronnie Evans, and Randy Trefz.
