VINTON:  Patricia "Patty" Ann Mckinley, 75, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton.

Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Vinton on January 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM.

Patricia was born on February 25, 1949 in Waterloo to Merton Mckinley and Eva DeMoss. She attended Independence High School graduating with the class of 1967.

She enjoyed spending time with family, writing poems, traveling, facetiming old friends, keeping in touch with friends on Facebook. She also enjoyed reading and sharing bible based hope with others she met. She was a member of the Vinton congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

She is survived by her sister; Lura (Doug) Cook of Independence, brother; Bill (Teri) Mckinley of Independence, nephews; Andy, Cory, and Joel Mckinley, Nieces; Sarah Cook, Calista Brunko, and Molly Hocken, and 14 great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Alice.
