VINTON: Regina Linn (Vogt) Fennern, 56, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma surrounded by those who loved her.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 11, 2026 at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E. 6th St.). Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10 at the chapel from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Regina was born on January 6, 1970 in Vinton, Iowa to Richard Thomas Jr and Peggy McNeill, and was later adopted by her parents, Melvin and Eleanor Vogt. Regina is known as a free spirit who brought positive energy wherever she went. She loved nothing more than spending the last 9 years with her soulmate, Chris Dee. Regina was a Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe tribal member and took pride in her Indigenous heritage.

Regina was well known around Vinton for the many years she worked at Johns Quick Stop. She then decided to live out her dream and worked as a transportation coordinator for Festi-Cab where she was able to travel all over and meet so many amazing people. She later began a career as a tax professional in Pittsburg, Kansas. This job is the one she was most proud of.

Regina had a wide range of hobbies but especially enjoyed live music and dancing. She enjoyed playing billiards and was part of a pool league team for the Ron-Da-Voo for many years. Regina was an avid traveler and was lucky enough to travel to 49 states and 5 different countries with Chris. After becoming a Grandmother Regina lived for the adventures she would go on with her grandkids. She was truly the world’s best “banana.”

She is survived by her children, Alex (Stephanie) Geiger, Zackeray Fennern, Tyler Fennern and Baylee (Taylor) Studt; her grandchildren Xander and Lillian Geiger, Cambri Dee, Phoenix Dee, and Truen Studt; The father of her eldest son, Jimmie Geiger and the father of her three other children Randy Fennern; Along with her many siblings.

She is proceeded in death by her birth parents, Richard and Peggy, and her adopted parents, Melvin and Eleanor; and many other friends and family members who loved her.
