VINTON:  Robert Dale Patava II, 55 died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Phillips Funeral Home, 212 East Sixth Street in Vinton.  The family will receive friends from Noon until service time on Saturday.  Bob will be laid to rest with his son, Brandon at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton.  Condolences may be left at: www.phillipsfuneralhomes.com .

Robert Dale Patava II was born October 16, 1963 in Waterloo to Robert Dale Patava I and Arlene (Moschkau) Patava.  Bob graduated from Expo High School in Waterloo.  He was united in marriage to Renee Fiebelkorn on August 8, 1988 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Waterloo.  Bob worked as a mechanic for many area businesses.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and tinkering.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and grand-dogs.

Bob is survived by his wife, Renee of Vinton; his twin sons, Robert (Cassi Sloan) Patava of Vinton and Ronald (Cassie) Patava of Vinton; his granddaughters, Serenity and Hennessey Patava; his brother and sisters, Craig (Connie) Patava of Waterloo, Deb (Mark) Fink of Cedar Rapids and Denise Baker of Cedar Rapids; several nieces and nephews and their families and his grandmother-in-law, Irene Geiger of Vinton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Brandon on July 24, 2017.
