VINTON: Scott Lee White, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at his home in Vinton.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined.

Scott was born May 13, 1964, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Larry and Audrey (Snyder) White. He loved camping and fishing. He was very passionate about Church and volunteering at the Church. His faith was very important to him. Scott also rang the bell for the Salvation Army. He adored his grandchildren.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Amber (Tomas) White; his brothers, Wade (Virginia) White and Lonnie White; his 2 half-brothers, Mark Tyrell and Matt Tyrell; His half-sister, Anne Hinderaker; 3 grandchildren, Bobby, Jazz, and Nelly; a nephew, Wayne Clapsaddle; and a great-nephew, Jadin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Audrey.
