BLAIRSTOWN – Steven W. Busch, age 72, died Monday, July 14, 2025 at Unity Point St. Luke's Hospice in Cedar Rapids, surrounded by his loving family.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM., Monday, July 21, 2025 at Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown with Rev. Jeffrey Schanbacher officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9 AM until service time also at the church.

Steven was born October 26, 1952, in Belle Plaine to Carl and Mildred (Danker) Busch.  Following graduation from high school, Steven served his country in the US Army Reserve.  He worked as a janitor at Belle Plaine High School.

Steven was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the MJ Kirby American Legion Post #170, both in Blairstown.  He enjoyed woodworking, crafting and fishing.  He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye Football and Minnesota Vikings fan.  His greatest joy came from being a grandpa and spending time attending their events.

He is survived by his daughters, Andrea (James Remington) of Atkins and Elizabeth Busch of Troy Mills;  3 grandchildren, Alexandria Remington, Owen Remington, and Elliot Busch; his brother, Ronald Busch; and nephews, Jake (Erin) Busch, Chris (Amanda) Busch and their children Ethan and Emry Busch.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents.
